My involvement in the arts spans over a 25 year period. From privately studying old Disney picture books in the back room of my Grandmothers house in the 70’s, to working on "Scooby Doo and Guess Who" as a background artist for Warner Brothers.
My love for storytelling and emoting through illustration is the main reason why my involvement in the arts has been life long. I spent the better part of the 90’s in and out of art shows with my illustrations and abstract paintings. All the while working on draughtsmanship and paying homage to the craft of illustration. I then transitioned to book cover illustration, created a few small-press children's books and then began an extensive mentorship which lead to studio contracts.
I was fortunate enough to mentor with one of the best visual development artists that Disney and Pixar have ever produced, John Nevarez, and continue to do so even through my studio contracts and personal work.
